www.productionillustration.com showcases the work of production illustrator and concept artist Patrick Janicke. With an industrial design degree from his hometown Berlin, Germany he moved to Hollywood in 1992 to do production illustration and concept design for high concept film productions. Hence Patrick contributed fantastical vehicle, prop and architecture designs for dozens of Hollywood blockbusters including “Stargate”, “Blade”, “Godzilla”, “Speed Racer” and “Transformers”. As an authority of imaginative design concepts in the entertainment industry he appeared on TV shows such as “Jesse James’ Monster Garage” and in Scion’s “Reinvent the Wheels”. Parallel to his career as a concept artist in the film industry he keeps track of his own projects. Patrick’s fine art series “Vertical Vehicular” was exhibited at Gallery 800 in a show titled “Three artists you should know”. He also exhibited his works at L.A.’s art event “Create:Fixate”. Patrick lives in Hollywood, California.
